Ava is a lifelong dancer, entrepreneur and sex work advocate. She began teaching pole after 6 years of being in love with pole dancing while working at a strip club, since then she has founded Black Skrippa Brigade to further provide opportunities to local SWers in Chicago. When she’s not on the pole, she is likely traveling, at the spa or cuddling up with her dog.

Originally a hip-hop and poms dancer, I was introduced to pole in 2017. I quickly fell in love with the art form and decided to pursue teaching in 2023. When I’m not poking you can catch me taking a nap, catching a flight or finding my zen through yoga/acupuncture or trying a new restaurant.
