Meet your leaders

 

Jo

Jo Sterling is a movement artist, yoga instructor & meditation teacher. In addition to teaching yoga and meditation - she is a pole dancer, aerialist, and lover of Caribbean Dance and Soca music. She's a former NCAA Division I Athlete in three different sports - rowing, track & field and cross country. She also spent about ten years recruiting engineers in Silicon Valley and NYC while creating mindfulness and wellness programming at some of the world's most prestigious companies and startups and is so excited to bring her experience and expertise to the Black Girls Pole Community in NYC!

Asia

Asia Q (they/them) is a traveling pole performer and instructor based in Brooklyn, NY. They’re a lifelong athlete with over 25 years of movement experience. Outside of pole, they work in experiential marketing, acting, and modeling. They have a passion for leading and organizing, and they believe that being a forever student of life improves not only themself, but the world at large as well.
